The story behind the build

The brief called for a place to gather, cool off and use every week. The finished build balances pool, planting and entertaining without clutter.

Every decision, including levels, materials, planting, drainage and the way the space is used day to day, was made before construction began, so the finished environment feels built into the property, not added beside it.
